Mr. Dalton has over 40 years of environmental and groundwater consulting experience and is a founding partner at Dalton, Olmsted & Fuglevand, Inc. His expertise spans environmental assessment and remediation, groundwater development and management, and groundwater control for civil engineering projects in Washington, Oregon, Missouri, California, Montana, and Alaska.
A significant portion of his work over the past 15 years has involved assessing upland sources of contamination to marine waters, including work in the Thea Foss and Hylebos Waterways of Commencement Bay in Tacoma, Washington.
Mr. Dalton has a proven ability to integrate his extensive knowledge of environmental regulations with the management and technical issues associated with his client’s projects. He has worked on sites regulated by MTCA and Sediment Management Standards (SMS), RCRA, CERCLA, SARA, CWA, TSCA, and SDWA, and by state/federal cleanup, hazardous waste, water quality, and landfill regulations. He has had extensive involvement overseeing the characterization and remedial design for the Head of Thea Foss Waterway problem area within the Commencement Bay Nearshore/Tideflats Superfund site.
