Teal is a registered environmental engineer who has been working in the environmental industry since 2010. She has worked in both the public and private sectors of the environmental field and since joining DOF in 2012, Teal has worked on multiple projects as lead design engineer and project manager. She has designed various stormwater, dredging, and habitat improvement projects and she routinely performs the environmental permitting, cost estimating, and preparation of plans and specifications for construction bidding. She has also worked with clients to prepare stormwater documents, including DMRs and SWPPPs, and ensure regulatory compliance with Industrial NPDES permits.
