At both berths, a narrow shoal adjacent to the terminal face had developed and interfered with vessel mooring.
DOF provided the following services:
- Provided permitting assistance and helped develop a long-term permitting strategy
- Conducted an underwater diver survey of the toe wall and an underdock survey of slopes at berths
- Conducted bathymetric survey review and dredge quantity calculation
- Conducted sediment characaterizations
- Prepared plans and specifications and provided bid support
- Observed construction and documented findings in daily reports and photos
- Prepared project closeout report
